Red gingham evokes comforting images of cozy country lolita magazine spreads. Gingham is sooo classic in that sense and I wanted a piece using it for a long time. When I saw this pop up on Lacemarket at a good price I decided to nab it!

I love the versatility of this dress. There's so many ways that you can style it: different blouses, shoes, cardigans... you name it! It's going to get a lot of use in the summer months.

Tbh I've only just now noticed the bleeding on the lace, but it's so faint and works with the dress anyway. Considering the dress is from 2000 and is in perfect conidtion otherwise, I can't really complain!

Fun fact: this is now the oldest piece in my wardrobe!
